Aisha jamila hinds was born in America, and is most well-known for her performance on The Shield. Since her debut in 2003 she has proven her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played her role as Anna that was on Assault on Precinct 13 It was however her role as women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actress. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for its third installment by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently completed filming on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters and is scheduled to be released in the middle of 2019. Bachchan appeared on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her beauty and her fame were then brought together in her first English film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006).
