Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 8th,
1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of the
contracting company Stone Contracting. She has Swedish and British Isles roots.
Stone began acting as a child at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she
performed her first stage performance in "The Wind in the Willows" by
Kenneth Grahame. Through her teens Stone was an active participant of many productions
before she made the choice to pursue acting as a profession. Officially, she
created a PowerPoint presentation, which was backed by Madonna's
"Hollywood" and titled "Project Hollywood", to convince her
parents to let her quit school and move to Los Angeles. The pitch succeeded and
she and her mom moved to LA after completing her education at home. There she
would spend the day auditioning. She made her TV breakthrough when she was
awarded the part of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 Reality/Talent show In Search of
the Partridge Family (2004) which was followed by a string of small TV roles
over the next years. Her film debut was as Jules in Superbad (2007) and, after
a string of great performances, her lead role in the film Olive in Easy A
(2010) established her as a rising star. The school she attended was Xavier
College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's a redhead, her natural
hair color her hair is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she change her hair
color to fit the style of Superbad (2007). The actress was so in love with it,
she chose to keep her hair. At age 15, she convinced her parents to allow her
to go to Hollywood by putting together the PowerPoint presentation that was
appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She began her career in acting at the
age of 11 years old. age at the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she
played in over 16 performances on stage as well as performing in the theatre's
comedy-improv troupe. Caylee Cowan also performed at the Valley Youth Theatre.
